A number of astronomers discovered a phenomenon that seems to be a suicide because the planets are very close to its star and powerful waves.

Planet WASP-18b is to have millions of years of life and found Cóel Hellier, a professor of astrophysics at Keele University in England. Hellier delivered his report in the scientific journal Nature on Thursday (27 / 8). "By creating the wave, he destroys himself," Hellier said.

Stars are planets WASP-18. Planet around the star in the constellation Phoenix and is about 325 light years from Earth (one light year of about 9.3 trillion kilometers). That means he was in the region of our galaxy neighbors.

Distance of the planet to its star is approximately 1 / 50 the distance of Earth to the Sun. The size of the planet is about 10 times the size of planet Jupiter. Waves between the planet and the star could be analogous to the relationship the Moon and Earth that could form the two waves. So far astronomers have found more than 370 planets outside the Solar system. However, suicide planets very rare. (ISW)
